Our HandyWOMAN roots go way back to learning how to build with Pop Pop, Garden with Grampy and generally always having a curiosity about how things work. Being a strong independent woman and starving University student allows for a lot of DIY too!

While at University, I worked for AJN Painting and learned the very best, neatest, cleanest & most professional methods for painting directly from Norb himself. I've appreciated that valuable apprenticeship every day since. I have put that knowledge to work for myself and many a client for decades.

Owning homes myself, only allowed for even more learning how do do things like install ceiling fans, snake drains, repair a dishwasher, install blinds, create hardscaping and hone my aesthetic design. Working on film sets gives you a lot too.

​

Our knowledge is vast and well rounded, and we also partner with a select few people to fortify our building, construction, repair - "Home Care" arm of Besterfield Group. Those who work with and for us are required to uphold our high standards. We all are proud of our strong work ethic and every one of us enjoys working hard, using ingenuity, problem solving and being creative to make your repair, build or install a success.

Our rates vary. We can offer hourly rates, or project pricing. 

Materials carry a 10% Admin fee starting in 2026

We work closely with you to develop the best routes to completion for whatever project you have. We do sketches, architectural drawings, source inspiration images, products and colors. We'll hold your hand from A to Z, or pop in to a project where you need us.
